Remarks: Mounting:
The two internal red leads should be combined to form the loudspeaker + connection.
Likewise, the two blue leads should be combined to form the loudspeaker - connection.
If applicable, the black central ground lead should connect between the power amplifier and loudspeaker’s dedicated ground terminals. (Else it can be left disconnected).
The cable screen should be connected to the power amplifier’s dedicated ground terminal (or chassis) and should be left disconnected at the loudspeaker end.
If it is impossible to connect the screen to any ground terminal (or chassis screw) at the amplifier, the screen should be connected to the amplifier’s loudspeaker - terminal of the channel in question.
When to be used as an interconnect:
Red leads combined form signal +; Blue leads combined form signal ground; Connect shield to signal ground at signal source side and leave disconnected at signal receiver side; The black central ground lead can be left disconnected.
